It's a little bit of a slow week at CVS and Walgreens this week.
CVS
Herbal Essences - $2.99 w/$1 ECBs, LIMIT 1
If you still have the coupon for free Herbal Essences from Facebook, this would be a great time to use it, since it expires at the end of the month
There's a Dove deal this week. Buy $15 worth of Dove, Degree, Caress, or Lever and get $5 ECBs. If Dove Ultimate is included, you can get a great deal on deodorant.
Dove Invisible Solid 2.6-3oz - $2.50 ea (maybe?)
Buy 6 and use 6 $2 printables and this will be a $2 moneymaker. But who knows if the Ultimate will be on sale? And you'll need 3 computers to print 6 coupons. Thanks to Money Saving Madness for this deal.
Glade - spend $10 w/$4 ECBs
Sense and Spray, Lasting Impressions, Fragrance Collection Reed Diffuser, or Soy Candle - $6
Scented Oil plugins refills 2pk - $4
Essential oils candle, scented oil plugins 1ct, sense & spray refill, scented oil candle refills or holder - $2.50
It doesn't look like you can get anything free with this deal, but it's not terrible.
Walgreens
Colgate Total Advanced or Enamel Strength - $3.99 w/$4 RR
Use this $.75 off Advanced printable to make this a moneymaker.
Bic Briteliner Highligher - $.49 ea w/IVC
If you still have the $1/2 Bic coupon from the 8/9/09 SmartSource, you can get 2 for free.
That's about all I see. Check out i heart wags and i heart cvs.

A CVS Trip
I've been itching to use the raincheck for the Bumblebee tuna, and I got my chance this week.

2 Oral-B Cross Action toothbrushes - $4 w/$4 ECBs, LIMIT 2
Used 2 $.75 coupons
1 Nivea Lip Care - $2.99 w/$2.99 ECBs, LIMIT 1
Total Cost: $20.07

What's Better Than Chocolate Covered Fruit?
Why free chocolate covered fruit, of course! This Sunday, Edible Arrangements is having a free sample day! Stop in and get a free sample of their chocolate covered fruit. A coworker of mine got one of their arrangements for Valentine's day from her hubby. She was kind enough to share, and it was SO GOOD. I was very impressed. Get all the details on their Facebook page. You might want to call the store nearest you to make sure they will be participating.

Great Deals at Meijer
The picture you see above was the end result of an epic quest. The great Meijer Mealbox coupon quest. It really was almost like the Holy Grail. I've never worked so hard for Oscar Meyer in all my life.
So last week, Lunchables were on sale. (Yes, I know, I didn't tell you. I was going to tell you, but then there was a quest.... And I promise they're still a good deal.)
So, like I said, Lunchables Subs were on sale last week for $1.25 each. (They're normally $1.50.) I went to Meijer, naively thinking I would be able to use my $.75 printable and my $1/2 Meijer Mealbox coupon. Well, boy, was I in for a surprise. I got to the checkout, and the cashier said I couldn't use both. So I asked her to check with someone else. And whoever that magical person was also said that I couldn't use both coupons. So I very politely asked to speak with a manager, certain that I would straighten everything out. And then Mr. Grumpy Shorts showed up. Wow. Someone peed in his Cheerios that morning, and I was the recipient of his unfortunate mood. He told me in no uncertain terms that he knew the policies, and he didn't care what the Meijer website said, I couldn't use both coupons. Well, it was then that I told the cashier to please void my order and I left. This was the store on Prospect, and I got a call from some high up person at the store this Monday who said that there wouldn't be a problem using my manufacturer coupons and mealbox coupons together. So I ended up at the Urbana Meijer extremely late Saturday, and they took my coupons no problem.
Ok, now, on to the deal. The epic quest story was only for your amusement. Here's how it went:
8 Oscar Meyer Lunchables Subs - $1.25
Used $.75 printable and a $1/2 Meijer Mealbox coupon so they were free, but normally they'd still only be $.25.
1 Clorox Toilet Wand - $9.99
Use the $5 printable and I'm planning to send in for this $5 rebate. And I've tried the wand, and it is AMAZING!
I also used a $1 off $10 purchase coupon, so this was a great deal.
Total Cost: $20.84
Coupons: $16
GC: $4.84
And may I also say, the Lunchables Subs make for an amazing lunch?

Free Body Wash (well, pay tax) at Target
Looking for some good deals for the P&G Coupon Book Rebate? Here's one for you. Target has the 8.4oz Men's Shower Gel on sale for $1.79. Use the $4/2 coupon from the 2/21 P&G Brandsaver to get these free. You won't find these in the normal shower gel aisle, though. I found them on an endcap. I made two trips.
Transaction #1
Total Cost: $7.78
Coupons: $7.21 (the coupons get adjusted automatically)
GC: $.57
Transaction #2
Total Cost: $13.63
Coupons: $12 (I bought 7, even though I only had coupons for 6, because the last one was only $.53 not including tax)
GC: $1.63
So I got $19.69 towards the rebate for nothing oop! If you did the Olay/Venus deal, this is a pretty good way to use those giftcards!

Last Minute Shopping at Schnuck's
I'm sorry I didn't blog about this quicker. There are still 3 hours left in the sale, but this is more last minute that I would have liked.
Schnuck's has Birdseye Steamfresh on sale for $1 through the end of today. There was a coupon for $.35 off 1 Steamfresh in the SmartSource insert on 2/28. Schnuck's will double coupons up to $.40, so after doubling, that's just $.30 for a bag of veggies.
These tend to be $1 pretty often at Schnuck's, so even if you missed this one (because I'm a dope and didn't tell you about it sooner), you should find that this sale comes up again soon. And $.35 off coupons aren't too hard to come by, generally.
I got 12 bags. Here's the breakdown:
Total Cost: $12.08
Coupons: $8.40
GC: $3.68
So about $.31 each. Can't beat that.
